Limewire? iTunes?

I like limewire.

I am old enough where I remember napster and still miss it:(

mIRC/Torrent.

Soulseek/torrent sites (OiNK in particular).

limewire, and for some reason, I meet a lot of people that dont know this, but Windows Media Player lets you download songs too!

-why people dont know that, I dont know...

oh, and if you're wondering as far as recommendations, DO NOT TOUCH KAZA that program is chock full of viruses....trust me.

Album torrents.

in order of preference:

newsbin/irc(x-chat)

torrents

limewire/google search/etc

currently - limewire
past:
winmx (not very fast but no spyware and free)
kazaa - mad fast mad spyware

limewire, yeah kazaa gave my PC mad STDs, but thank god for Mcfee

Limewire currently. I used to use Morpheus, but it would ALWAYS freeze up!

sanluisfreak, doesn't it cost money to get songs from Windows Media Player?

Nope! seriously, no cash at all...I was using wmp before I even ever heard of limewire or any of those guys.

..then I started talking to ppl online, and they were like ***? seriously?

maybe its just the wmp I've got, the one that comes w/my comp, but its ALL free! Of course, song selection isnt that good...the more common the song, the better your chances, but heres how...assuming its the same wmp format:

open wmp
click on media guide
search for artist or song...you'll have to do some looking, oftentimes, to find what youre looking for...listen to them first also
click on whatever one, an audio, not video
wait for it to load and buffer, usually not that long
once it finishes the download, go to copy to device (or cd...but their cd burner is SLOW AS S.HIT)
copy music (if this is what you're using it for)

---and there you go.
It will also be saved to your library (and if not, go to file and add to library)

I use DC++, and bittorrent. Most other programs I won't touch.

old: WinMX, Kazaa, Morpheus
now: Limewire

i use allofmp3.com cuz its usually like 8cents a song and works just like iTunes. but its only legal in russia :) i used to use limewire but its so annoying getting music with spyware and stuff i dont use it anymore.

I use FrostWire now, it's great.

If you only you guys knew the 's & the _'s that limewire puts on your system, I doubt you would still be using it.

At work, I love seeing the Identity theft and the Mal Removal, I find it Funny.

Limewire is the worst of the worst. Lord its bad.

I dont use P2P at all, Im 100% usenet.

Shareaza .

In order of preference (most --> least)

1) Azureus
2) iTunes (used to have a hundred or so free downloads)
3) mIRC
4) Searching for it on private sites or forums (mostly old songs)
4) p2p (limewire)
