What Reach School?

Ive applied to a lot of places and have gotten into all of them except UNC-CH and NCState, both in which im waiting to hear from. But what reach/big reach school should I apply to. Im interested in business. I want to apply to at least one really good school like cornell, tufts, etc. Heres my stats and tell me where you think I have the best chance.

Black Male (north carolina)
First Generation

3.8 gpa weighted, 3.3 unweighted

Class rank : 75 - 312 (Top 25%)
1280/1850 SAT (640 verbal, 640 math, 570 writing)

The only AP im taking is psychology.

ECS
Basketball (9th)
DECA - President (11th, 12th)
FBLA - Member (11th, 12th)
Who's Who in High School (yea it doesnt matter)
Ventures Scholar
National Society of High School Scholars
National Honor Roll

Heres my acceptances by the way.

(EA) Tulane- Accepted
Clemson - Accepted
Guilford College - Accepted
Virginia CommonWealth University - Accepted
King College - Accepted
Lynchburg College - Accepted
UNC-Charlotte - Accepted

your probably in at both

to add a reach school...., maybe Duke?

bump......

I think you've got a good shot at UNC, and an awesome shot at NCState. If I were you, I'd take a look at Duke, Emory, Vandy, and Michigan as reaches. Florida/Miami(FL) two more matches.

I would look into NYU - Stern since you are interested in business. It is definitely a reach, but I think it is possible.

Yea I was kinda of interested in NYU. I wanted to stay in state, but it isnt a huge factor, so Duke looks pretty nice. I did however, get a D in honors pre-calculus (slacked completely with an F all year and got an A on the exam) which i think looks really bad for any reach school.

im still undecided... bump once more.

I'm not completely sure, but Wake Forest might be within your range, and it's in NC.

Washingtonian is right.

Wake Forest has a good business program, so it sound like the type of school you are searching for.

When did you apply to Clemson, and when did you find out?
