Humans are supposed to eat meat.

Humans are supposed to eat whatever they please, it is not anyone's job to tell others what to eat/not eat. I'm not a vegetarian but I won't preach this to everyone and similarly won't follow vegetarians' preaching.

Cannibalism, hmmmmm, tasty...

As long as it's for a logical reason and not "animals have feelings :( :(" I don't have much of a problem with vegans/vegetarians.

actually, there has been extensive and fairly conclusive reaserch done that basically says that different people function better with different diets. Namely, blood type A people generally do better to eat a vegetarian or vegan diet. My father is neither vegan nor vegetarian, but meat and dairy make him kind of sick.

What do you mean "what's the deal"? Humans aren't "supposed" to eat anything. Get over your preconceptions about the world. People are vegetarian for health reasons and/or for personal moral reasons. If that's somebody's deal, that's their business and their choice. It certainly doesn't hurt you or them. Contrary to popular belief (because people like to look down on and be skeptical of people who are different) vegetarians can live healthy lives and have simple, easy, fully nutritious diets. Myth: Humans can't get all their essential nutrients without meat. Myth: Vegetarians have to take vitamins and supplements to get some nutrients. Truth: Both meat-eaters and vegetarians can have healthy diets.

Humans are "supposed" to do a lot things, but certain animalistic feelings are repressed in our society for good reason (for example, humans believe in cultivating mercy toward other humans, while pure animals do not). Some vegetarians believe that eating meat is one of the animal behaviors we should avoid. If that's their belief, they're entitled to it. It's certainly not hurting anyone.

I hate preachy carnivores and preachy vegetarians. Everyone should be allowed to do his or her own thing without people acting all suspicious and condescending about their "deal." What's YOUR problem?

I'm a happy meat-eater myself.

this again?

Humans are not necessarily supposed to eat meat, but they are suppose to eat FOOD.

My favorite vegitarian loves to go to steak houses with me because they have great vegetables as well

^hhehehehe your favorite vegetarian..?

It's just another lifestyle choice.

Type O- requires pure protein to survive. Completely factual statement.

I'm blood type A, and I can't do anything unless I have some kind of meat in my diet. Vegies only makes me weak and fragile.

I wish my grades were anything like my blood type.

She knows who she is.

i've been a vegetarian for 11 years, and i am perfectly healthy. human teeth are actually more similar to herbivores than carnivores.
if you dont care about the animal rights/moral issues, i suggest you read the book Fast Food Nation and learn what actually occurs getting that steak from the cow to your plate.
i'm not the preachy type- if you want to eat a dead carcass thats fine with me, as long as i dont have to touch it.

what about human rights? okay, animals have rights...but so do humans. There are thousands of people whose rights have been taken away from them all over the world. Why not take care of them first and then see how you can help animals.

^what does that have to do with anything? besides, its better for everyone and everything, (totally ignoring animal rights):

so how are you caring for humans first if you are decreasing their survival rates?

What's the deal with clothes? They aren't natural.

Your information smells like it came out of a cow. You must remember that people that eat meat dont eat it exclusively. I'm sure if people ate steak for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, then ur numbers might mean something.

Steak for breakfast is pretty BAMF.

with the advancements of medicine...people can live for alot longer than the average life expectancy.

I doubt that all the rich people who rely on oil for their income will stop selling it because making meat free food uses less of it. and the buyers aren't exactly keen to stop buying it either.

The Middle East Oil reserves, which were discovered about 40 years ago, obviously haven't finished despite the fact that people still eat meat.

maybe not eating meat can give people a few extra years, but I'd rather die a few years early and eat meat.
