So I want to go into engineering and earlier this year I got 780 on the SAT Subject Test Math Level 2. BUT, I figured that I should take a science test also so recently I took the physics subject test and got 660 which is NOT good. I haven’t taken physics since sophomore year and all the studying I did couldn’t bring all of it back (I am a senior now) so I got this score. It it even worth reporting with my Math score of should I just leave it out?
it depends where you’re applying, but for now I would leave the physics out. Some schools, however, may require 2 subject tests (and if you’re applying as an engineering major it probably requires 1 math 1 science.) I would check the admissions websites of the schools you’re applying to to see their standardized testing requirements. If they do require a science SATII, is it possible that you could retake it or take chem or bio instead?
