What Sat2's does harvard want?

Im planning on taking the Math 2, Physics, and Spanish. What I'm wondering is what happened to the writing test? im guessing because the sat1 has it they got rid of it. is that good for harvard? are they looking for more? also as a junior, im in spanish 4. what content is on the test. the college board reccomends you take the test after spanish 2, does the test include level 3 and 4 material? what should i do to study? i sure most of these questions have been answered before so i apologize for taking up space. thanks all!

also, im in physics, but the physics test is supposedly the hardest, plus i am terrible at physics, but its my only science class this year. because i took ap bio last year, would it be worth reviewing and taking the bio sat2 also?

I took the Spanish exam. Learning languages builds, so... if you're at level 4, you're well prepared as long as you've kept your knowledge up. I think you'll do fine if you prepare. If you can spare the extra cash, get a prep book. If you can't, just review your own textbook from class.

Yes, there is no longer a writing SAT II because there is a writing section as part of the SAT Reasoning now. I would recommend that you take the 3 Subject Tests you think you will do best on and show your knowledge to the schools to which you are applying. If that's with math, physics, and Spanish, then go for it.

I'd take bio.

And with Spanish, you should take Spanish w/ Listening. On that, of course, I recommend being familiar with the sound of the language. Watching univision helps ;). Also, remember a good bit of vocab; learn all conjugations, including imperfect, perfect(past and present), future, conditional, subjunctive mood, present participle, etc.

ok to clarify: you reccomened i review bio even though i took it last year? i was pretty good at it, so it cant be to hard to reprep for it. also what is better for harvard spanish or spanish with listening? what is harder? also, i figured out that there is only one time in the year you can take w/listening, its right after the summer, do you think i will forget all over the summer? i guess i can prep then too, but i think at the end of this year might be best (vs. w/listening in fall.) i listen to juanes songs etc. so i can prob do ok on the listening portion, but im bad at the listening on school tests. oh well.

i personally thought that the spanish sat ii was one of the easiest.
i took it last june (i was also in spanish 4 last year)
it has easy sentence completions, short reading passages with questions, and a couple of ads or pictures with questions. just make sure you know your grammar, basic vocab, etc

I dunno, I thought spanish was impossibly hard, then again, maybe they teach it better at your school.
It just seems that if you have a subject like bio that you can brute force cram the week before and do well, it would be much easier.

so your saying we should cram for bio?? lol i did that for the ap exam, but i got a 4 instead of the 5 i was hoping for.

i don't know, i tried cramming for chem last year, but i did much better on spanish without any review. same with math, i did better than on chem even though i took honors for all three classes

I took Spanish without reviewing, too, and I think I did pretty well. Then again, I use it everyday (but, I'm not Hispanic, so colleges won't think I'm taking it just to have an easy score).

i studied for bio and almost nothing i reviewed from my prep book was on the exam. i still did well with a good biology background.

same with me, when i took bio and chem, nothing that i reviewed was even on the exam lol

so what im planning to do is study for bio for a bit, and go take the test. if i fail who cares? i just wont tell the college ;)
