What school am i applying to?

I have a quick question. I'm applying under the computer and cognitive science: artificial intelligence program, which i recently was told by my regional officer that i can apply to as a freshmen applicant before i complete 8 CU.

in this case, what college am i technically applying to? SEAS or CAS or both? And if its both, is it then really hard to get into, especially since i cant select a single school on the application? or is it not as formal as a dual degree program and so it doesnt matter?

And on a side note, is it bad to intend to pursue a BAS in SEAS if ive never taken formal compsci (school doesnt have it)? i love the mix of programs they have there and wouldnt want to not get in for taht reason alone. or should i mention my school doesnt have compsci but im interested in studying it to a marginal degree?

bump

if anyone knows anything about that program itd be greatly appreciated. its so hard to find any information about it (in terms of applying to it as a freshman), and I want to make sure i know exactly what i’m applying to

You would be in the College of Arts and Sciences I believe. Good luck!

trickysockman, how did you apply to this program, it sounds really interesting and i might want to try and apply to it as well. Is it any different that simply applying to CAS and then declaring my major as cognitive sciences. Do you know anywhere i could get some information on the program. Thanks for any help and good luck with your admissions.
