go to google. type in "students review"... go to the website... check the reviews for NYU and Fordham... i read every single one... and afterwards I really haven't felt that bad about not being able to attend NYU.

i have a friend who goes to NYU. she loves it there. i go to fordham and i'm a bit indifferent. i'm grateful i'm in this fine institution, but i know it's not the best obviously. going to nyu would be something else, i would have gone, if i had gotten in with enough financial aid. life could be worse. consider yourself lucky if you get into either school. both are prestigious institutions with great opportunities to those who attend.

boston university

for those who turned down Northeastern, why? (apart from because of more financial aid if so)
I myself am debating between NEU and FU.

I applied back in 2004, and attended Fordham fall of 2005.
I turned down Emory, Syracuse, Penn State, Baruch College.

Humtaro,
FU - location, aesthetic campus, Jesuit education, prestige (general perception), networking with large companies/firms (the starting salary, at least for the business school, is over $56,000), networking with other Jesuit colleges (will help for grad school if you apply to GT, BC, etc), upward trend in rankings (good investment for future in terms of value of degree), small class size (in comparison to other schools), amazing library (one of the most technologically advanced academic libraries in the country and was ranked fifth the nation by the Princeton Review in 2003, ahead of the libraries at Yale, Columbia and Harvard universities). There are many more reasons out there.
