Hey guys,
Well I'm applying to Umich by September 1st because I know the earlier you apply the higher your chances of getting in are. However, I'm debating which school I should apply to. I know I'm not good enough to get into Ross but I ultimately want to end up in Ross. Am I required to apply to a certain program if I want to end up in ross or can I apply to any school. If that is the case I would really like to apply to the easiest school so I can make sure that I get in. BTW I'm OOS with a 31 ACT and 3.85 gpa.

Also, by applying early I will not have another chance to take the ACT again. I'm going to take the ACT again in September but will they accept my score? Should I just wait till I take the ACT again before applying?

Also, this is for alexandre especially, would you mind reading my diversity essay when I finish it. Its really different from the usual fair and I would like to see if you think its too out there.

Sorry, you’re name is pretty misleading haha. In that case, you should be in good shape for LSA and a reach for preadmit. If you apply normally to Ross, it isn’t too bad.

Yea I’m going to apply regular. If I apply for classics at umich what school is that and do you think it would increase my chances because not many people apply for classics and I’ve taken 4 years of Latin.

4 years of high school latin doesn’t really do anything for you… michigan does a totally different latin system that is specifically called “michigan latin” they basically reorder all of the cases than the normal way. if you can place out of latin, you can be a classics major without taking anymore latin i believe…

Hmm, well I figure that not to many people apply for classics so it looks more desirable on the transcript which helps my chances of getting in. Then I will just transfer into ross after 1 year.
