<p>The official unifieds website is terrible. Are calarts and purchase going to be at unifieds? The site doesn't list them but my friend who went to unifieds last year said that both those schools were there last year and she auditioned for them.</p>
<p>I know it’s confusing. But it’s not the Unifieds’ website that’s wrong - it lists all of the schools that are “unified” members of its organization. But you are right that other schools will be there. They set up camp in the same place to make it convenient to students.</p>
<p>The way you find out if the school you want will be “at Unifieds” is by looking at that school’s website and its own audition calendar. Besides the ones you list, for example, I know that Boston University and Carnegie Mellon have auditions during those periods. You have to make appointments individually with schools like that, just as you do with the schools are are “official” Unified schools.</p>

<p>In January 2010, my S did some of his auditions in NYC. Specifically, he did his SUNY Purchase audition in the a.m. - - at a studio DIFFERENT from the Unifieds - - then did an audition with a different school AT THE UNIFIED Audition site (which was in an office building) in the afternoon. He did his CalArts audition the weekend before in NYC (at a hotel), but CalArts was not part of the Unified Auditions in NYC.</p>
<p>EmmyBet is right - - you need to check out each school’s audition schedule at their own website. You may find that schools do auditions in the same cities and on the same dates as the Unified Auditions, but not at the same physical location.</p>
