My 10-11 would be a 3.0 uw. counting first semester of senor year i would have a 3.2 10-12 weighted gpa. I also recieved a 31 on the ACT. A lot of ec’s and started my own Buisness. What schools in So Cal do I have a chance at getting into ( San Diego resident)
What’s your weighted GPA? Have you taken many honors and/or APs?
With your GPA, ACT scores, and ECs, you should be okay for SDSU or University of San Diego (assuming you wanted to remain in SD). Outside San Diego, but still in So Cal, I would say UC Riverside or UC Irvine might work. For privates, you might want to look at Chapman or Occidental, and University of Redlands as a safety.
What is your budget? Do you want a big university or a small liberal arts college?
Probably most of the CSUs in the region (may depend on your major).
Most csu’s, with sdsu a reach. UC’s unlikely. U Redlands.
UCI will not accept someone with a 3.0. Cal State Fullerton, and CSU San Marcos are more realistic options. Whittier College, a private liberal arts school, will likely welcome you, but it may be unaffordable.
^seconding Whittier
SDSU would be a Reach so would USD. I would look at several of the CSU’s such as CSU Fullerton, Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State Northridge, San Marcos, LA along with Whittier, Univ of Redlands, Univ of La Verne, maybe UCR. Plug you stats in the Super Match feature on this website and see what comes up.
Much will depend upon what you can afford.

3.2 gpa* 31 act. Sdsu? Uc’s? Very good personal essay
Money is not the issue. UC Irvine or Sdsu are probably my top options. 4 Ap courses. 350 hrs comm service. Work experience in sales. Started own buisnees. Political science major
Both will be reaches for you, not impossible thanks to your academic rigor. It’s good you know your reaches
now you need to figure what qualities you like in them, then try to find them in other colleges that will be matches and safeties.
-Azusa Pacific University (Safety)
-Biola University (Low match)
-Loyola Marymount University (High match, since your scores are above average)
SDSU does not take personal statements, it is all about the numbers. Being a SD resident will give you priority but you still need to obtain a certain eligibility index threshold which for Business which has been around a 1000 for a good chance. Each year the school gets more competitive due to an increase in applications. Many SDSU applicants that were rejected got acceptances at UCR which overall has a higher acceptance rate (57%) to SDSU’s (35%)
(CSU GPA x200) + (ACT composite x10) = EI.

Only UCR, UCI and UCB have business schools.
What about cal state fullerton? 3.0-3.2 GPA and 31 act.
My EL score for SDSU is a 950
Since you are a SD resident, I would say SDSU would be a High Match along with CSUF. For a solid Match, consider Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State San Marcos, Dominguez Hills, Cal State Los Angeles and Northridge. Also consider UCR, La Verne University and Univ of Redlands
