I just received my SAT score, which was a 2160 (740-CR, 700-M, 720-W). My ec’s are pretty good - cross country, student council president, National Honor Society officer, track, HOBY delegate for my school, school staff’s advisory board vice president, founder/president of a cultural club. I don’t know my class rank yet (4.58 GPA w, 4 uw) but my school is pretty competitive. Anyways, I’m nervous that I won’t get accepted into the school’s that I’m interested in…What schools have you or people you know been accepted to with a score in this range? Thanks!
My daughter is in that SAT range. So far she’s been accepted by two safeties: Binghamton and Earlham (with $30,000 in merit aid.) Waiting to hear from a bunch more. I’m sure you’ll get in someplace good.
Your 2160 and subject breakdown is solid, as is your GPA. With good extracurricular activities, essays, and letter of recommendations, you should have many option and will be a competitive applicant for the best colleges.
Try the supermatch tool. It is super helpful. http://www.collegeconfidential.com/college_search/
My kid got in Notre Dame, Boston College, Northwestern & Michigan with SAT in that range.
It’s not all about scores.
Tufts, but was also in the top 1% of her class.
I’ve never met anyone in real life with such high scores.
I did speak to a girl on CC with a 2150-ish, she was accepted into Catholic University of America with a $20,000 scholarship.
Look at the senior thread! We’ll be getting our acceptances soon, most contributors (besides myself) have very high scores.
