What Science sequence did you have when you were in high school?

9: Biology
10: Chemistry Accelerated
11: Honors Physics
12: AP Biology or AP Chemistry; depends on which one I'm more interested in.

8: Earth Science
9: Biology
10: Chemistry
11: AP Bio/Chem/Phys/Environmental (Student's choice, Bio and Chem are the most popular)
12: Mostly AP Physics

9th- bio required
10th- chem 1 required
11th- physics required
then you can take all the rest as electives whenever
Bio AP, Physics AP, Chem AP, Environmental Science AP, research and design, anatomy, aqua science

My school is really weird and offers hardly no honors courses... The only honors that was offered was Astronomy.

Most students at my school only take earth/env. science in 9th, bio in 10th, and chem in 11th or 12th. So, I am pretty advanced compared to most at my school...

9th: Earth/Environmental Science
10th: Biology, Honors Astronomy
11th: Chemistry, AP Environmental Science
12th: AP Chemistry and possibly AP Biology

Yes... there is no physics. They just began offering Physics this year and the teacher is horrible I hear. Therefore, I am not taking it.

9th: Biology H
10th: Chemistry H
11th: Physics H, AP Biology/Chemistry
12th: AP Physics C

I took:

Honors Bio
Honors Chem
AP Chem
AP Env

My school's normal sequence for non-honor kids is:

Bio
Chem
Anatomy/physiology or astronomy or oceanography
none

And most honors kids take:

Honors bio
Honors or regular chem (its very hard at our school)
AP bio or env
AP chem or physics b or physics c

8th - Honors Earth Science
9th - Honors Biology
10th - Honors Chemistry
11th - AP Physics B
12th - AP Biology

Half the class is placed into Earth Science in 8th grade. The other half takes Environmental Science (I think), and then take Earth Science in 9th grade. Eventually, these people are screwed out of a choice of any AP science senior year.

9th: honours bio
10th: regular chem
11th: ap chem
12th: dropped // student aide for honours bio

7th: Life Science
8th: Physical Science
9th: Bio
10th: Chem, AP Physics B
11th: AP Bio, AP Chem
12th: I ran out of sciences

8th: earth science
9th: honors bio, health occupations
10th: honors chem, human anatomy
11th: AP biology, Human Physiology/Pathophysiology I
12th: Honors physics, Human Physiology/Pathophysiology II

9th: physics, chemistry
10th: earth science, biology
11th: ap chemistry
12th: ap physics c, quantum physics, thermodynamics, optics

so a7788: I'm guessing you really like physics? You taking those courses at what college??

8th: Living Environment (aka Biology) Regents A(ccelerated; no Honors in our district, just "Accelerated" which is the equivalent of Honors, just without he weight)
9th: Earth Science Regents/Lab A
10th: Chemistry Regents/Lab (no A designation because it was an 11th-grader class)
11th: AP Chemistry
12th AP Bio (or maybe AP Psych)

8th - Honors Earth Science
9th - Honors Biology
10th - Honors Physics
11th - Honors Chemistry
12th - AP Chemistry + Environmental Science

Sungchul u took LE in 8th grade? I took i in 9th well i took math A beginning in the end of 7th grade...

I propose we rename all these threads YAST (yet another sequence thread, or yet another stupid thread)

anyhows

9th: AP Physics B, AP Bio (damn this was hard), PIB Chem (another word for honors)
10th: AP Chem, AP Physics C (becomes very easy once you have AP Physics B already)
11th: HL IB Physics <--(haven't learned much in here so far, must be the evil 20 page labs. AP Physics >> IB Physics)

9th - Biology Honors
10th - Physics Honors, Chemistry Honors
11th - AP Physics B, AP Chemistry
I will be taking AP Physics C and perhaps AP Biology in my senior year.

10: Science 10 Honours A (chem 10/bio10 combo), Science 10 Honours B (chem 11/phys 10 combo)
11: Biology 20IB, Biology 30IB, Chemistry 25IB
12: Chemistry 35IB (organic), Chemistry 30IB

Wrote IB Biology SL (May of grade 11) and IB Chemistry HL.

9th: bio
10th: chem
11th: ap physics c
12th: post ap physics

9: Bio H
10: Chem H
11: Phys H, AP Chem
12: AP Phys, maybe AP Bio
