Can anybody tell me what kind of SAT score I'd need to get into a college at least as good as USC safely? I'd like to attend college in California, can i have some feedback on what score range i need? Thanks. =]

Well first of all, you don't NEED a specific score to get into any school (ie, friend of mine, asian, middle-upper class got into Johns Hopkins with an SAT score about 140 points lower than mine while I got wait-listed. Another friend had an SAT I of 80 points lower than mine, had SAT IIs a combined ~200 points lower than my SAT IIs, got into Brown's ultra-competitive 8-year medical program while I wasn't even admitted into Brown)

that is, if you are a California resident.
If you're not, most UC schools are incredibly hard to get into. A nonresident applicant to a high UC has like the same chance as an applicant to Harvard! (may be not that difficult, but you get the idea)

But since you are a cali resident, I'll post this for other readers...

this is a little off topic, David. But when you did MUN, did you participate at your school's BEIMUN? I've been there 3 years running now. (Special Conference, Human Rights, then ICJ) I was just wondering if I knew you.
