I understand what their requirements are, but I'd like to know what I need to actually get in. I'm only a sophomore in high school, but my heart is pretty much set on FSU and I'm scared to death that I won't get in.

Not sure how much of this is relevant, but yeah.
As competitive as the music program is, I'm not sure if I can rely solely on my playing ability to get in.
-Out of state resident.
-GPA will probably end up around 3.0 - 3.5.
-IEP as an academically Gifted student, as well as talented music.
-School band earned superior rating at LMEA Marching festival.
-School band earned sweepstakes at LMEA State festival. (Concert)
-Will have four years of District honor band and hopefully two of All-State. (Principal horn as a sophomore in District.)
-As of now I hold five medals from LMEA Solo & Ensemble festival and will earn more before graduation.
-Take part in the Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestra
-I audition for the New Orleans Center for Cultural Arts soon. That might help if I get in.
I'm an exceptional french horn player, but I know I'm not the best. I only think these are relevant because of my major.

I'm smart, but I work slowly, so the ACT might be a bit of a challenge simply because it is timed. Approximately what ACT score will I need to earn to be accepted into FSU?

Also, if anyone knows... How do the music scholarships work?
