I am a very hard-working student that is going to highschool in a month. I know people will say it’s too early to be thinking about colleges, especially when you’re not even in high school yet. However I am a person who likes to prepared and I want to understand what I have to do to achieve my goals. I want to attend an Ivy League School. I was accepted into the humanities program at my high school. My interests are in: Criminal Law and forensics. I’ve read many articles about what these schools are looking for: huge spike? Well-rounded not just a brainiac etc. I currently take SAT prep three days a week and volunteer to tutor younger kids the rest of the week. I will soon be selecting my classes in August and I want to know whether I should have a variety of classes or just those I’m interested in. Should I be in any sports? What clubs should I be in? I have hobbies such as: photography and journalism. I just want a brief response of stuff that I should do in high school that will appeal to my dream schools: Yale, Columbia, Harvard, Princeton. Thank you very much.
