What should I do for the ivies?

I'm a soph and just getting in on the whole admissions thing and I'm trying for the ivies/top colleges, but not sure if it will be attainable. Given my stats are they attainable and what should I do to improve my chances? I'm making my schedule next week for my junior year and I dont know if its good enough. Also, Are My EC'S really weak? Based on what I have where do I think I should look when I research colleges, I've been getting a lot mail from colleges and am not sure where they fall ect.?

You have a very, very good chance of getting into any school.

You'll need a better SAT score. A 2100 will pull you down.

Other than that, it looks fine for the Ivies.

your hispanic...great hook for your stats
everyone gets college mail, getting mail from state universities does not mean that you are at that level. i think you are very well qualified for ivies. do well on sat 2s and get that sat up

YAY FOR HISPANICS!!! You go. Rock steady. Haul butt.

he is hispanic...so i would say that an sat score over 2100 with good ecs and such would be good for most ivies...if you apply ED that would be a big help too.

just keep doing your best, and every school in the country is within your reach!

I love that last EC

lol it sounds weird, but its actually legit. theres a national competition and everything

It's pretty safe to say if you improve your SAT scores & do well on the SATII's, you will get into any college WITH a full ride.

What School would u guyz suggest as match, reach and safety if i raised my SAT and did well on the SAT 2's?

Bump.................

how are you 98th percentile w/ a 203? i had a 205 and im 97th..funky stuff.

I'm just curious about your course selection: How can you take APUSH twice? Are you not qualified to take the AP test Sophomore year with out APUSH 2?

Ax- I'm a soph. so I was in 98 for soph and 96 for juniors, i put the sophmore one down

About the US history, its weird , in my school u take US History over 2 years wether its AP or not , we get up to like the 1900s in US 1 and then do the rest in US 2 , i think we're one of the only the schools that does that and all AP science classes are double period so its hard to have a lot of APs or w.e

Any1 have any idea about match, reach, safety schools i shud look at?

usc would be a nice match now, youd get a full ride , they have amazing financial aid for low income families

if your sat's improve, i wouldnt worry much though

usc is a shoe in if you keep your grades up next year.

What do you think my chances would be for schools like Brown and Columbia?

if you get a 2100 hundred on the SAT'S AND YOU KEEP STRAIGHT a'S YOU'VE GOT A GOOD SHOT fopr columbia, and brown
