what should i do if i haven't studied at all?

there's one week until the sat and i have suddenly decided to take the sat 1 standby testing. what do you guys think i should do to get the most effective studying done in 1 week?

Uhh! That is not so going to happen.
I think you can do whatever you want. I, I do excessively Math. Reading English I throw away, I know bloody well that I am gonna lose it again.

Depends on what you need to improve. But what last minute studying i.e. CRAMMING I did was:

+Memorize or Re-memorize vocab
+Run over essay examples to use on test day
+Look over old writing sections, see what errors I missed
+Refresh some of the trickier grammatical structures, like (between you and ME, not between you and I, etc)
+Do one or two more CR passages

Buy the Barron's How to Prepare for the SAT 2007-2008. It's a lot to read but it has almost everything if you ask me. Seriously though get that book! I'm not kidding, it's excellent for both people who have never heard of the SAT and those trying to get a perfect score! You don't have time to memorize 3500 words, but you can memorize roots and suffixes which can help you dissect words and understand their meaning. As for math, it covers a lot of the essential concepts. As for writing, look at my post(recent) where I post this online site with good essay strategies. Use this sparknotes writing section page if you want to do good as well.

Get the Barron's book and you're good to go if you only have a week. When you get months to prepare, start memorizing words and get more books depending on what score you're aiming for. The Princeton's How to Crack the SAT 2008 is also an excellent addition to your collection as it can help you get around hard problems like it's nothing!

thanks so much you guys!
