So what should I do to get a score of 32 or 33....

Btw, is it necessary to get a act tutor? cuz a lot of my friends are doing so.
Thanks a lot!! XD

Oh my gosh, you’re like me.
I received 29, too.
Eng 27 Math 31 Reading 30 Science 27…

All I am doing is just read. :/

wow…btw do u know any tip that can make me read faster?
I feel like I read too slow…

Practice time tests in test conditions. Exact time breaks. Many of them…

tutor me in math and science and I wll help you in reading and English. I get 30 in English and I am a terrific reader. I suck at math and science, however. What I did for the English section was use Barron’s ACT(and ACT 36) to read the English rules. I would do 1 practice test per day and go over the answers. To do good on the reading section you need to: Read at a comfortable pace(4 minutes passage is fine), read what you like first, for the scientific questions read the questions first and read the passage underlining terms and definitions. Care to help me with the math and science sections?

I would strongly urge you to NOT do this. I have found that simply practicing over, and over, and over again with no time limit will bring your time down. As you get closer to test day you might consider taking tests under time constraints, but always answer every question, specifically in math where the harder ones are near the back. It is imperative that you get as much exposure to the tests as possible, do not skip problems.

Well, look at you composites it most certainly looks like you could attain a 32 or higher score if, and only, if you work on that reading score. Your reading score is really what is dragging your composite down significantly. I would suggest intensive training on that specific aspect. Have your parents, siblings, or friends read an article in a newspaper or online and have them think up some questions. Then you read the same article and try to answer the questions that they pose. And try reading more of everything. Maybe set aside one solid hour a day of just “book time”. After the hour of reading try asking yourself questions about what you have read…

Lastly, just practice, practice, practice, and I’m sure you will get a high score!!!

Sure! How do I contact you?

Thank you so much subcomfreak!!

Use PR’s cracking the ACT for techniques and more info on the test. For reading just read more difficult books. People who score high on reading generally read a lot. Try to read book s on different topics and broaden your vocabulary. Take those tests under strict timed conditions and after a while you’ll generally get the hang of it. Use Barron’s for Math and science and bring that score up to the mid 30’s range and you should score in the 35/36 range in those sections. For English keep taking practice tests and go over your answers because it heavily test grammar. GOOD LUCK
P.S. Are you taking the Sept. ACT, then that makes to of us ;)
