What should I do to improve my chances for Stanford, MIT, Johns Hopkins, and some ivy leagues? Do I have to get any award or show great accomplishment in other areas like music, sports, or hobbies? Since I focused so much on math competitions, my accomplishments in math competition is my strongest EC. Should I continue to research about math in a local university or put my focus on other areas?

I got some awards in math competition of universities such as Caltech, Princeton, and MIT. Does it help me to get accepted by these universities?

You are in at Hopkins, the other two are reach for anybody but your stats are very good.

You actually have a very good application. your Stats are very good and I would be really surprised you are not picked by an IVY. Surprised you are not getting many hits. I suspect your STATS are so strong there is propably not much to add.

i thought my ECs were kinda weak for ivy leagues, whether or not my “USAMO qualifier” was considered. thanks for recommending me ivy leagues. Your advice relieved me pretty much.

your ECs are fine, There is nothing like IVY caliber ECs. Your strengths are your SAT2 scores and AP scores. They are very, very good. Your GPA is good and your ACT score is also competetive. There is really no weakness in your application.

USAMO is a very big deal and will help you a bunch along with Siemens. I guess you could try Intel STS but other than that I can’t offer any suggestions.
