Ok i am a freshman and I am taking a pretty difficult schedule.
Geometry Honors
Biology Honors
Spanish 3 On level (I try but Spanish is not my thing)
Ap Human Geo
PACE (required class by all freshman at my school) Second semester health
English Honors
Athletics Football and Track

I am considering dropping ap human geo because I know I won't be able to make an a, and may even make some c's. I will definitely take it later in highschool along with other aps, I just think its too early. How will this affect me for college? (would love to go to stanford)

My school doesn
t even let students take any APs until 10th…so maybe this is why. Well, if you feel that you can
t do well enough in it, then drop it. But getting a C in AP is really like a B because of the extra quality point. The real question is, what do YOU want. Forget Stanford for a minute. Are you OK getting a C? I think it might be better to drop it, and it`ll help you GPA out in the long run.

It doesn’t look difficult to me. Freshman year I took Honors Bio/AP Environmental block, Algebra II Honors, AICE G.P., AICE Thinking Skills, AP Human, and Journalism. I had no problem handling my schedule, and my classes are supposed to be “more difficult” than your’s. I am in no way questioning your intelligence; I am sure you are a very smart person. To answer your question: No, do not drop AP Human! It was an extremely easy class for the majority of us that took it. It’s a great introduction into AP, in my opinion.

Your schedule doesn’t look incredibly difficult… I heard Human Geography is a joke (our school doesn’t offer it, but I see a lot of frosh at other school taking it for an easy A/ easy 5.) Drop it if you’re going to get C’s. Yes, it’s an AP class, but getting a C in Human Geography is a completely different story than getting a C in AP Calculus BC or AP Physics… lol.

I didn
t take Bio Honors, but something similar, sort of, called T/A…don
t even get it, but anyhow, wasn
t too difficult, and the teacher wasn
t the easiest.
