Right now i'm attending a community college, I'm a freshman even though iv'e gone to this college for over a year, but i need to go away to a college this spring because I can no longer live with either of my parents and got to college at the same time. My mom can't pay for college anymore and my dad refuses, they both make too much money for me to receive any help from FAFSA (already tried). My mom is really reluctant to cosign for loans. MY college transcript is pretty shady, i have only completed half of my attempted credits, i dropped out of a whole bunch because of medical problems. And my GPA for high school and college is around a 2.5-3.0. Is it likely i'll get accepted to any colleges like millersville, kutztown, or bloomsburg before this spring. Or should i just apply to open admission colleges like youngstown and pa college of tech? And how can i get financial assistance if both my parents make too much money?
