I got a disciplinary action at my college for copying answers from another student in exam. To be honest i did look at his exam but didn’t really copy anything and my professor decided to give me an F in that course and submitted to student conduct. Even though there was nothing similar in the exam regardless i ended up doing seminar for that and they told me it won’t show up in my transcript. Now i want to transfer to another college and in the common application they asked me whether i got a disciplinary action or not? Should i hide it and say no? If not, how bad it will affect my application. I already got approved from the college’s dean’s office based on grades but they said they have to have my complete application before they officially admit me to the college. They also want the "College transfer report’ from previous school which just asks about disciplinary stuff. My college said they either won’t fill the form or they can write a note on that saying, the student doesn’t give permission to share the information but they have to put either of those options on that form. I am really confused. I made a horrible mistake now please help me and suggest me what should i do? I will be really thankful.
