what should i do

kay, i skipped practice on monday, and i'm plannin to skip friday as well, so i can be well rested and prepared for the SAT this saturday.
however, i hate disappointing the coach

what should i do? should i go home or should i go to practice?

go to practice. I think that's very irresponsible. If you were on my former sports team, you wouldn't be able to play at the next game, since that's not a valid reason. You're letting down your team, and that's just not good sportsmanship

What practice is this for?
Track practice is skippable even though its not good.
Being prepared for the SATs is more important IMO.

ilovetocambout, why not just talk to the coach about what's going on inside you, your anxiety about a heavy practice right before taking the SAT, etc. Not that the coach will let you skip practice, but you might get a little easier session on Friday. Never skip though.

yeah, i think you should just tell your coach the situation and then skip rather than just skipping...if you skip without telling him, it'll seem really irresponsible, but if you explain the circumstances, then you'll be able to rest up for the test, and still keep your coach happy...

...and Good luck for it!!! :D :D

ps: gspsiliconvalley, he's ilovetocamp not ilovetocambout :)

sorry, but my laptop keyboard is possessed and adds characters and/or partial words sometimes. Even though I keep McAfee VirusScan up-to-date, there seems to be some non-detectable parasite or intrusion that affects my keyboard.

^ hey, i was just pointing it out...there's no need to apologize:)

btw, about your keyboard, i had a similar problem a while ago, but it was because there was some insane setting on my comp that made some keys "stick" so they would type all wrong...maybe you should check that out... :)

I had that problem too. It was for the numbers/symbols keys. It was like you pushed a 7, but an 8 came out, everything was shifted over one
