I have been accepted, but I am still waiting to hear from other colleges. But if I wait till then, I will probably lose the oppurtunity to get the dorm most suitable for me. I was considering off campus housing, but if i wait too long, will spots fill up?

i would def wait to see what other colleges say...if you still want to go to stony then send your forms in april...also i wouldnt recommend off campus housing freshman year...most of the friends you will make will be with the people you live with..

you are guaranteed campus housing if you pay the deposits by the date indicated on the upper corner of your admissions letter (probably may 1st)

You're all more or less correct, but the earlier you send in housing deposits, the higher priority you'll get on housing. So yes, you could submit your deposits on May 1, which is the last day we'll guarantee housing -- but you're not likely to get your choice of Undergraduate College. If that stuff is important to you, I'd submit your deposit and complete your "New Student Preferences" form ASAP.

Worst case, you'll lose your deposit if you change your mind down the road.

Would mid-march still be a good time for higher priority? i'm just waiting on one more school right now, and results should come out in mid-march.

Don't know; depends on how quickly deposits come in.
