I am a Junior (yay!) Psychology major... I am taking 14 hours this summer and 16 this Fall, so after Fall I will be a Senior...

If all goes well, I will graduate July 2011- 11 months early.

My issue now is what to do upon graduation...

You see, I want to work in mental health one way or the other. So, I am looking at 3 different options....

Go straight into a Clinical Social Work program, which takes 2 years and then become a LCSW.

Go into my school's Master's program in Clinical/Counseling Psychology and then become licensed at a Licensed Practical Counselor....interchangeable with the LCSW, pretty much, but a little more "me". As this would have an individual focus, not a systemic focus as the MSW program.

Take a couple science courses for 2 quarters and go into an ADN Nursing program, which takes 1.5 years. Then getting the BSN- 1.5 years... then the MSN which is 2 years. I would specialize in Psychiatric/Mental Health.

I am $10,250 in debt with student loans for these 3 years, if that matters. I am leaning towards ADN, BSN, and MSN, but I am not sure if I can go through all of the non-psychiatric illnesses and such? Not a big fan of gross, stinky, stuff. LOL

So- if you were me, what would you do?
