In the fall I will enter as a junior transfer student at a private catholic high school. My frosh and soph year I went to a public high school that was ranked high in my state, however, I went through extenuating circumstances that were cataclysmic towards my grades (I pulled off a 2.5 UGPA my sophomore year), so my parents wanted me to transfer...

I'm taking:
AP Chem
AP US
AP Lang
H Pre Calc
H Physic
German III (I chose not to take honors because I'm not that good..)
theology

In essence, I want to know what similar, public hs transfers felt like at private schools. my tenet is that most students have a condescending attitude - they do not really care what they learn, they just want a high GPA or that the students fall in the "spoiled/druggie" typecast.
