I'm aiming at premed and I love science, but I would also love to do something unique to help get into medical school.
Any ideas of some good majors I can look into?

As said in your other thread, med schools don’t care, so just pick what interests you.

I’ve heard of doctors majoring in everything from English to bioengineering undergrad, it doesn’t really matter. Do whatever you like

Nothing will be looked at as “unique”, ad comms don’t care what you do as long as yo do well in it. This means it should be something you like and is useful should you not continue on to med/grad school. There are ways to make yourself unique, like being involved in activities that aren’t on the “pre-med checklist”. Of course, don’t just do them for the sake of putting it on an application, the whole idea is to do what you like and be able to communicate it.

Top three choices that may “prepare” you well for medical school and MCAT:
biololgy, biochemistry, chemistry

Among the three, biochemistry is probably the most influential. It has both biology and chemistry elements, which are really really important in MCAT and medical school.
I knew this because my sister is now a medical student.

What about if I don’t decide to go to medical school? What would I be able to be with a biochem major?

Most biochemistry majors are either prospective medical student, or intended to work in scientific fields, i.e. research assistants.
Health care industry and government have a large percentage of biochemistry graduates.

This is precisely why you should major in something you GENUINELY enjoy rather than taking up a hard science for the sake of preparing for medical school. Should you not get accepted into med school or you experience a sudden change of heart, having studied something you sincerely loved would leave you with other options and more opportunities to explore.
