I'm a freshman in high school and my goal is to get into MIT. I want to work making PCI chips and stuff at like Intel or Qualcomm. Maybe even apples mobile division. So my question is: What should I major in? (Computer science, hardware, electrical engineering?)

If you want to make chips, you can do EE, and specialize in any of the following:
- digital design
- mixed signal design
- computer architecture (larger chips)
For very large chips, there’s also MechE’s and lots of software engineers working on it (think the IPhone type of projects)
