what student loans only look at the co signers credit info?

<p>I am curious about this because my university claims that I do not qualify for a pell grant. So, I might have to take out an extra student loan, but I have poor credit and would like to know which student loans only look at the co signer information. I am 32 and so I totally cannot get a parent plus loan or something. I am looking at private student loans for right now.</p>

<p>I am not advocating getting a Sallie Mae loan. However, the site does explain the different type of loans available to students and/or parents. </p>

<p>Good luck with your search, you may wish to try your local bank or credit union which may have lending specifically for education.</p>
