I got a letter from them saying I have to fill out verification forms to verify my FAFSA #'s match my 2005 income tax returns and it's an assload of paperwork, not to mention mailing them like 35 sheets of paper. Anyone else got this. WHY ME???????????????????????????????????? ****.

me too!! It ****es me off too since they also sent me something that said i didnt get into the presidential scholarship program BUT NOTHING ABOUT MY ACCEPTANCE.

I'm a GT student and have had those twice since I've been a student. Its a pain in the ass but thats about all. I don't know what singles people out, if its random or they have flags go off.

Get used to it.....

me too! It makes me really not want to go there! Maybe it means that they actually want to give me money???

I've gotten them. And, they try to pester me about "Student Tax Returns" even though I have NEVER filed a tax return (I work under the table ;))

i got it too..so effing lame. i didnt hear anything about acceptance either although on the website it says they made a decision. does that mean they accepted me if they want verification and their decision is already made?

where does it say that they made a decision? all i see on my application data is this:

Application Data
Requested Enrollment Date: Fall 2006
Application Type: Regular Freshman
Application Status: Application Complete
Degree: BS in Computer Science
College: College of Computing
Major: Computer Science

application complete= decision made

what slacker said.

No, that just means they have everything to make a decision. You won't get a decision until March 15.

I received my acceptance mid jan. when you get past the check app there is a place that tells you to log on with your email and password and it says
"YOU NAME, congrats, from the President"

I heard over a month ago but most of my friends have not. I did not get President's. They have a message board....by far the best college website since admissions actually answers questions personally! W &M, Vandie and UNC literally don't tell you anything. Neither does UVA and most others.

Anyway, says that most will know by mid March
