What time are the decisions going up tomorrow?

NOOOO! :frowning: haahhaha I hope they organized it by something else…like last name…

Everyone in California has it at 7pm…

emails says 5pm. I’m in RI

I’m in the midwest and mine said 7 p.m. local time.
Not like I won’t check earlier anyway. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Hoping it’s just to avoid chaos on their site!

5pm. California

^Well, I stand corrected. I guess everyone I know has been rejected >_>

^same here. all my friends have 7pm. uh oh hahah…we’ll see what happens tomorrow…

You guys…

Ugh this is the thing about CC that gets on my nerves the most - everybody’s trying to figure out their decision based off of something totally arbitrary. For example, the Duke online account decision times (which was, in fact, totally arbitrary), or the time that UPenn/Dartmouth sent out reminder emails about checking online on April 1.

It is most most most most likely because Brown doesn’t want the servers to clog up. That’s it. I will be checking my decision at 2pm PST, and then again at 7pm PST (like it says on my e-mail reminder). Good luck to everyone! Please do something relaxing tonight… and have something even more relaxing planned, post-decisions tomorrow.

@ocgirl
you’re right, this over-analyzing is a bit absurd. i feel tons better now :)

over-analyze, do it, do w/e you want, make w/e you want out of the info people are submitting because in the end we’re all going to feel the pain of rejection or joy of admission.
so go worry, over-analyze, live, cause in less than 24 hrs it’ll all be over and w/e you did before the decision comes out wouldn’t make any difference in the end…

Wish I could do something relaxing tonight/tomorrow.

Alas, I have a calculus test. It never ends.

chicago - email said 7p central time

I’m lucky- I’m on spring right now. I plan on going to a club at 6:30 (30 mins after the results come up) with my friends. I’ve been fearing/waiting/anticipating this for so long that I’m in a pretty peaceful state right now, although studying French is helping me achieve this zen haha.

Not sure if this will be true tomorrow, but I heard on NPR that emails will start being sent at around 5:00pm Eastern.

I got an email that said 7pm my local time, which is central, but if you look at the front page of the brown website and put the mouse where it says admissions, it says,

“Admissions decisions for first year/freshmen applicants will be availible online April 1, 2010 after 5pm edt”

So of course I’m going to have to check at 4 central.

Good luck everybody!

I haven’t seen any east-coasters with a 7pm time, so it must be staggered… I pray to God that it’s not indicative! I can’t seem to get accepted anywhere!

I’m in Hawaii and I have 7pm. Yikes.

I live in Denmark (6 hours behind Eastern Time) and my e-mail said “5PM (your local time)” and I thought it was a mistake?

Yeah, it is a mistake. Mine said “5pm your local time” and I live in China. Was not up at 5pm my local time.

You’re 6 hours AHEAD of Eastern time charlotteaimee (EST is GMT -5, you are GMT +1), meaning you should get decisions a full SIX hours before anyone else does =]

Unless of course I’m stupid and forgot about the International Date Line
