What to bring to the dorm (Keurig)?

<p>Hey guys! </p>

<p>So I'm going to be a freshman in the fall. I don't really know what I'm doing in regards to dorm life, what to bring with me, etc. I'm a slight caffeine addict and was hoping I could bring my Keurig along; however, I can't find anything that says whether or not I can bring it! There's plenty of stuff on microwaves, no hot plates, etc. Nothing about coffee pots/machines though! </p>

<p>I know it's kind of lame that I'm so concerned about my coffee, but I was just curious. </p>

<p>I’m going to be a sophomore this year, and personally don’t really think a coffee maker is necessary, especially if you live in a hall that has a cafeteria, because they serve coffee literally all the time. Also with combo exchange you can get a free cup of coffee on the go once of a day during the week. My roommate was also a coffee addict (I like it, but am not in love with it) and she brought a coffee machine, which she used maybe only a handful of times the entire year. So if you have one, or can obtain it relatively cheaply, then bring it to see if you actually get any use out of it, but if you’re thinking about buying an expensive Keurig I would hold off a couple months to see how your schedule works out; if you realize it’s more convenient for you to make coffee yourself, then go and make the investment.</p>

<p>I learned this the hard way with a lot of stuff for my freshman year, and probably could have saved a lot of money if I had waited to see if I could do without. Sorry for the long post, but I hope it helps!</p>
