What to bring to UCSB apartments/dorms?

I thought it would be nice if anyone had some suggestions on what to bring to the university apartments or the dorms at UCSB??

I spent 3 weeks at ucsd in muir’s dorms for a summer program. I found this checklist helpful: http://www.netnewsdesk.com/resources/439/File/wspacking.pdf</a>
here is a list of this you definitely want to have/bring:
water bottles
full length mirror
air spray
foam bed pads
travel mug
blue tape
krzy glue
frisbee
post-its
extension cord
bike!
fridge
foot locker (great for carying stuff and you can lock your valuables in it)

bring multiple swim suits because the beach is so close. I don’t know if you surf, but if you do bring your surf board. beach towels!

make sure to bring many warm clothes because it is chilly in the morning, even in the summer

i’m a minimalist so i’ll post the stuff that i used routinely

-sandals (wear when showering)
-bath soap
-laundry detergent
-subjective items like cell phone charger, contact lens water
-extension cord
-ethernet cable (only if you like to download stuff)
-enough clothes for a week
-laptop
-bed sheets and pillow
-backpack with notebooks and pencil and pen

everything else i brought, i seriously ended up not using.

Full length mirror not required. Each dorm/apartment that’s owned by UCSB has some form of a full length mirror. Be it a closet that has mirror sliding doors or almost a full length mirror hanging behind the closet door. (It’s raised about 9inches from the ground)
