Hi guys. So sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I wasn’t sure where else to put it. Anyway, so over the summer I volunteered in Pakistan for a nonprofit organization where I taught underprivileged children for two weeks. It was an amazing experience and I am definitely going to write about it for my college essays. However, I want to make the whole experience more impactful and meaningful. I tried setting up a sort of “pen pal” email correspondence between the school I taught at and my school in the states but the nonprofit said it was not logistically possible for them to implement such a project. Now, I’m not sure what to do moving forward but I really want to further the experience in some way to show colleges that I did more than just teach for two weeks and forget about it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
