What to do?I need your advice!

I currently torn between two things I really want. I have been dancing since I was two (hence the name Twinkle_Toes) and I love it completely. But more and more, I have been realizing that I need a job. I would love to do both, but there is one problem: Time. I intern at this entertainment coporation three days a week (weekdays) and the other two are spent doing volunteer work. The only days I would be able to dance/work is on the weekends. If I quit dance and started to work, would it look a little strange to colleges? What would you do in my case?

Thanks so much for any input.

Dance. You have the rest of your life to work.

Unless, you really need the money or something.

I don't think the colleges will see it strange, but they will definitely like the fact that you've been committed to your dancing for so long.

keep dancing if work is not an absolute necessity. I've been playing soccer since I was three and had to stop because of injury, and every day i wish i could play one more game. When i hear about people in situations similar to yours, I think it's crazy that you're even considering giving up something that has been a part of you for so long.

what do you need work for? fill out college application? I'm not an expert, but I would dance, rather than doing a minimum-wage job.

hey, what kind of dance do you do? I am in ballet and practice 6x a week. That's basically all I do, except I'm in orchestra, but I have stopped taking lessons privately because there is no way I can do both.
Definitely dance-you can get a job later in life, but enjoy dancing while you can!
