what to do if not taking AP tests?

when i applied to UCLA, i wrote that i would be taking the bio AP and physics AP exams, since I am taking both classes. however, i later decided that i wouldn't be taking the AP tests anymore (just a personal choice). am i supposed to contact admissions and let them know about this? i've already been accepted.

Yeah, just contact our Admissions Office. I do recommend taking the exams (if the costs (fee waivers?), or whatever reason you’re not taking it, aren’t hard to work around). The extra units from the exams can help you with your class standing, so you might be able to enroll in classes a little earlier than some of your peers. Not a big deal, though.

alright, thanks. but would that affect my acceptance in any way?
and i won regents, so not being able to enroll in classes early isn’t really a problem for me  haha

I don’t work with admissions so I don’t want to comment on what will happen.

From my personal, nonprofessional point of view, I don’t think it will jeopardize anything because it’s just an exam. Also, on the UC application, it only asks what AP exams you plan on taking, and they should understand that things change.

Congratulations on Regents!
