IS THERE ANYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF THAT I CAN DO TO PREPARE ME TO MAJOR IN BUSINESS/GET ACCEPTED INTO A GOOD BUSINESS PROGRAM???

Why aren’t you taking precalc after Algebra 2?

My school district can only be described as “wack” when it comes to math, after algebra II we either take statistics or fst (functions, statistics, and trigonometry) only then may we proceed to pre-calc…

Have you considered taking your math courses (at least Calculus) at the community college?

Math has never been my strong suite (I got a C in algebra II with a tutor) so I think that for this year I should just focus on getting stronger in the basic courses (and my GC would never sign the forms to let me). Thank you for the, suggestion though!

It’s not necessarily essential that you take Calc in high school, but most business programs will have you taking it for your major. You’ll definitely be taking some form of statistics, so some knowledge in that area should help.

Do you suggest I double up on math my senior year and take AP zsats and pre calc at the same time then?

I wouldn’t double up on math if I were you, you said yourself that math is not a strong area for you. AP Stats is a good fit for you I think. Much of the course is done with calculator sand the level of math in the course is comparatively low. It is an AP that is somewhat easy, and it will help prepare you for college because as dkil1031 said, you will take stats in college. Just a heads up, Calculus won’t be easy for you if you are bad at math, you should choose your major in business carefully, to ensure that you don’t have to take high level math courses (avoid Finance, math heavy Econ, etc.). At some schools (such as mine) their is an easier version of Calc for business major, so you may want to check that the colleges you apply to have a program similar to this.
One last thing, I’m not sure what fst is like at your school, but if it adequately covers the topics you stated it might better prepare you for college, as understanding of both stats and trig will help you with stats and Calc in college, without overwhelming you with math.
