What about Looking For Alaska by John Green. The books about a boy going to a prep boarding school, so it’s relatable.

Great book. I read it a pretty long time ago, but I really enjoyed it. Very sad ending though.

I read The fault in Our Stars which was also by John Green, also very sad.

Catcher in the Rye has some prep school stuff in it and it’s a great read

is it weird that me , my mom, and my sister’s best friends, all had dreams about me getting accepted to the boarding schools.

Only a little. Good luck!

John Green writes a lot of sad stuff.

I think those dreams are kind of common, having your friends and family dream about it is weird, but you having those aren’t unusual.

I have like rotations where I dream that I get accepted into every school, then the next day I get rejected from all of them. I think it’s normal. Or not. In which case I would be weird. Which I am. Kind of.

Great to know I’m not the only one having those dreams. They are absolutely agonizing because right after you get accepted to your top choice, you wake up and realize that you have to wait another two months for the actual results.

Exactly! It’s really a violation of our right against cruel an unusual punishment to quote an earlier post.

If someone sued the schools and brought this against the Supreme Court and we were the plaintiffs, this could make us a lot of money :D. Of course, the schools probably wouldn’t accept us because we just lost them a lot of money, which could be a bit counterproductive to our cause

But then we could build them a new dorm or something with the money we got from them and they’ll accept us.

Dreaming is good.

I do have some friends with lawyer-parents. And this is a constitutional issue, which is pretty important. I’m just saying…

Time passes SOOOO slowly now. It’s been 5 days since all my apps were due, but it feels like a month should have passed. I’m dreading the 49 days left until M10. Of course, after I was WL’d last year, I wished that I could go back in time to pre-M10 days so that I didn’t know I was WL’d

I’ve done mock trial for a while now, and I study law in free time. So constitutionality!!!

I have applied to four schools and completed my last interview this past Saturday. I am very anxious for M10 because everything is out of my hands. I am going to try to stay positive because I know I did my best.

Of course. That’s good.

Of course. That’s good.

6 weeks and 6 days to M10 after today!!

This is a countdown to M10. The time is 5:30 because that’s when Exeter’s email came out last year. I hope it’s a party for everyone!
