<p>Any suggestions? I applied to a program for computer science, but I haven't heard back yet about that. I am thinking of volunteering, but I can't find any places to volunteer AT! Any ideas about that? I couldn't find any internships either..except for making flash/website stuff for companies my mom works for.

<p>Given your interest in computer science...and not knowing what part of the country you live in...this may be a stab in the dark...you might check with your city administration-city council-mayor's office....or a political candidate you resonate with...all could use your expertise in developing web sites....many firms in Silicon Valley use interns, contact their human resource departments...local university or community college offer courses of interest?...I hope this helps-Good Luck!</p>
