Hi guys!

So I'm currently a junior at a very competitive high school, and I'm looking for things to do over the summer! I've been rejected from the internships I've applied to and also I'm not smart at all so I believe I will have a better chance of being accepted if my G.P.A. is not considered.

Also, both my parents work full time and I don't have my liscence yet so I prefer things that I can use public transport to reach (ex. bus, train). I live in the Bay Area.

What I am looking for:
- teaching! (I'm applying to Math Enrichment)
- summer camps! I absolutely love kids! overnight camps would be awesome too!
- research! (I'm emailing a few professors to see if they will let me help in their labs!)
- helping at start ups! I would love to help by doing things like documenting information or even working a desk job

I'm totally open to trying new things and I just want to do something where I can actually learn real things in and of course I want it to look good in my college application. (I know that sounds really shallow but like I said before my G.P.A. is really bad so I'm trying to get things that will really show colleges that I'm more than my numbers show.)

Also, I'm attending NSLC (National Student Leadership Conference) at Berkeley for Medicine from August 1-10 and that cost almost $3,000. My goal is to find something that I will either be paid for or something that costs nothing more than transportation and teaches me a lot.

Thanks so much for everyone who read this! I would really really appreciate any suggestions that you guys might have. Please help me if you can, I've already been rejected from the things I applied for.

Thanks!
