I will be a freshman in college this coming fall. I was just wondering what should I expect from classes, peers, food, roommates, dorms, and anything else! Experiences would be nice to hear too. Thanks!

Massive orgies punctuated by brief, infrequent binges of studying.

^that sounds about right
;)

It does? Really? I must be doin’ it wrong then… For me it’s frequent binges of studying, supplimented by energy drinks and topped off by weekly massive orgies… which culminate in the sacrificing of the Virgin, the Whore, and the Nerd to ensure bountiful test taking for the next week (and because it’s fun to mess with the curve).

It depends on your college, and what you want to do. The massive orgies can happen, but you’d most likely be studying a lot, writing a lot, and gaining weight like none other if you don’t watch out.

^really? you are going around pushing energy drinks?

are you just an advertiser?

and those drinks are ****ing expensive

They were handing out free energy drinks at my campus. :)

energy drinks are for squares. true scholars get high and thrive just off the perceived opportunity to learn something new or master something previously learned

anyways, what you should expect: lots and lots and lots and lots of free time

I pulled an all-nighter

what did I drink?

Like a real man, I drank Mtn Dew

Don’t expect some people to act anymore mature than they were in high school.

Chances are you won’t be best friends with your roomate.

Dorms depend on what school you go to. The school I currently go to has pretty awful dorms that need renovation. However another school in the same city has onderful dorms.

From the school’s i’ve visited College Cafeteria food is excellent.

As a Freshman, how hard you have to work in classes might vary from class to class. You’ll probably take one class that might open your mind to new ideas.
