What do we need to fax by 9/30? Can someone provide or link me to a list? I haven't seen any fax requirements on the application so far.

Thanks.

To find the information on what to fax and to print the fax cover sheets, you need to log into your QB College Match application and to have your school and guidance counselor information entered. After logging in, you will be on the “My Locker” page from which you can access the appropriate links.

Fax the following to QuestBridge by Sept. 30:

Your transcript and standardized test score reports. The fax cover sheet for these is found by clicking on “My Application” and then clicking on the link which says, “Fax Cover Sheet for Transcript and Test Scores.”

School profile. The fax cover sheet for this is found by clicking on “Teacher Recommendations” and then clicking on “Fax Cover Sheet for School Profile.” (This link is found under your guidance counselor information so students who haven’t entered GC info yet will not be able to see it.) QuestBridge instructions say the school profile is optional but recommended. I highly recommend you have your guidance counselor submit one. It is helpful as it aids application readers in better understanding your accomplishments within the context of your school and community.

thanks for the response

I think you have to fax the teacher recommendations too, don’t you?

QB prefers the teachers and GC complete their recommendations online, but if they aren’t able to, they can fax them in instead.

From the Teacher Recommendation section of the “My Locker” page: “If any of your recommenders are unable to complete the recommendation online, you should print the Recommendation Form below and give it to your recommender to submit by fax.”

thanks. do we have to fax stuff 48 hours before the deadline because it takes time to process? is it possible to submit the application if faxed stuff hasn’t been received yet?

on the school profile fax sheet, it also says to include secondary school report…what is that? the same as the profile?

i think the secondary school report is the guidance counselor’s recommendation.

Do we need to have teachers send in school profile fax sheet too or just one for the GC?

^I’m pretty sure only the GC faxes the school profile sheet.

Still need an answer to this question:

do we have to fax stuff 48 hours before the deadline because it takes time to process? is it possible to submit the application if faxed stuff hasn’t been received yet?

You can submit your application even though the faxes don’t show as having been received.

So far as the 48 hours goes, I think it is preferable to submit the faxes at least 48 hours earlier, but if you don’t it will be okay. I encourage you to get them sent earlier than 48 hours if possible to give yourself time to work out any problems.

If the GC submits their rec (sec school report) online, do they also need to fax the sec school report per directions of the school profile cover sheet.

bluemath, if the GC recommendation is completed online then the guidance counselor only faxes in the school profile and the transcript and test scores. That secondary school report fax cover sheet is just there for the use of GCs who want to fax in their report rather than submit it online.
