Im a high school senior and a future navy submariner, my field is advanced computer electronics or SCEF. This is one of the top four most advanced fields in the navy putting me at 50 transferable credits when training is done. My goal is to attend MIT for grad school but i got some questions about how to achieve this goal. Does this military school better than a junoir college? Is it possible to transfer there after a associates? Does my hands on experience give me an advantage from most other applicants? My major is undecided science major or engineering most likely electronic engineering. Plz send me feedback on wut i need to do in this case to attend MIT, what do i need to accomplish before i apply?

You may or may not get college credit for your training in the Navy. You will from whatever community college the Navy uses to continue professional training of their enlisted corps but MIT may not accept those credits. You also say you want to go there for grad school but talk about an associates degree. Those don’t match up. I honestly don’t know if MIT will give you preference over other students with your experience, but I’m sure some other schools will.

Im looking a bacholors in electronic engineering first and i ment to say would it be possible to get an associates and transfer for a bacholors at MIT or would i have a better chance at transfering after i graduate from a different college.

Yes it’s definitely possible to transfer into MIT after attaining an associates.

You will most likely NOT be able to be admitted into undergraduate at MIT after graduating bachelors somewhere else. That situation would be considered as “second degree” and I believe MIT does not admit students for second degree.
