<p>I am currently a first year at UCSB. I am pursuing a career in marketing/advertising. I hope to work in San Francisco at an advertising firm. However I do not know what to major in at UCSB. I was considering Communications here because there is an emphasis in media/advertising or possibly Economics? I don't know what to do! Is UCSB even the best place to be for this path? I hear that it may be smart to transfer to a cc and then attempt to transfer to a better school such as Haas at Berkeley.</p>
