<p>Hi, my CalSo's coming up in several days, and I decided on these classes</p>
<p>Chinese 1Y with Zhang
History 6A with Tackett
Math 16B with Scanlon
Sociology 1 with Swidler</p>

<li><p>I was wondering whether any of these classes needed Phase I. They don't seem like it, so do I just phase I whatever? I also have back-to-back discussions/classes that goes from LeConte to Dwinelle and another from Barrows to Evans. Is it possible to make the locations in ten minutes? I have pretty short legs. </p></li>
<li><p>Can anyone tell me about the Mandarin classes? Are they very rigorous? Sadly, I've taken 3 years of high school mandarin but my teacher was pretty poor, so I took the placement test and ended up placing into Chinese 1Y...........pretty fail (not a mandarin speaker though..) </p></li>
<li><p>Since I have 16 units, can I take two Decals? Or is that too much? </p></li>
<li><p>Is my schedule manageable? I'm Pre-Haas, but I decided to start off slow and just take Econ 1 and UGBA 10 in the spring time. </p></li>
<li><p>What does a GSI do and what are discussion for?</p></li>
