What to retake: 1530 composite SAT I or 700 writing

applying to MIT, stanford, caltech, harvard, princeton, others....

what should i retake in december? SATII writing or SATI

SATI:

june: 780M + 630V = 1410
october: 710M + 750V = 1460
composite: 780M + 750V = 1530
(on the app, MIT only takes SATI scores from one date, but when i called, they said they take combined).

SATII:

writing 700... English is 4th language.... colleges will know that.
math 2c 800
french 800
physics 790
math 1c 730

PREDICTIONS (if retaken):
SATII Writing: 730-750
SATI: 770-800M, 670-730V

id say writing.

Writing. (10 characters)

Definitely Writing.

LMFAO
WRITING.

but then again, both are good.... pop some pills and you'll be good.

LMFAO ? (something my something, something, opinion?)
Writing.

LMFAO = Laughing my f'in *ss off

how do you know that? I've never even heard it written like that.

I wasn't even close.

a variation of LMAO, a commonly used internet term.

technically, you don't really need to retake anything (very impressive for your fourth language, i mean i know people who got 610's on writing and it's their first language...) but, i would say retake the SAT. You could probably get an 800 math and squeeze maybe 10 more points out of verbal, or at least prove to them that that 750 wasn't totally out of the blue

Definitely writing.

if you have to reatake one of them then writing. But you dont really need to take it again do you? 700?

definitlely writing. a 1530 is very good. even for mit/harvard

bump bump bump

note: i'm majoring in math

Hey, I have similar problem.
My SAT I is fine (780M 770V) and my physics and math2c 800's are nifty, but my writing is an abysmal 690 (English is my first language!) I will be applying to the same colleges. Will this ruin me? How do I take it as a stand in for the Dec test?

retake writing. definately.

All your scores are great, but if you rly want to retake one, i'd say writing.

wtf... stop obsessing over stupid testing.
