What to wear for a boarding school interview? URGENT!

Hey, I've got two VERY important interviews coming up. One's with Andover, and another is with Middlesex. Now, I was wondering what one should wear to these interviews. A blazer? Suit? Nice pants? Preppy? Formal shoes? Just in general, what should I wear?

Now, I also have a few questions. What kind of questions do they ask? Is it true that at the Middlesex interview they make you write an essay? How important is the interview? What should I bring? --> transcripts? portfolio? short-stories?

First, do a search on the CC site regarding interview attire and protocol. I remember quite a few from this time last year that were several pages long.

But…in the meantime. My son simply wore a blue blazer, white shirt (or lt. blue, maybe), striped tie, and khaki pant outfit to each interview. He wore nice dark socks (no ratty athletic socks) and brown shoes. Nothing too exciting - it is pretty easy for boys.
He found his Andover interview to be really fun and interesting. They just chatted about their mutual interests; travel, skiing, community service, professional sports scores and rankings, etc. The interviewer was incredibly warm and welcoming.
