i'm visiting some schools in april next month. what do you think i should wear for revisits?

I was going to just go in a nice shirt, jeans and sneakers, but would that be too casual?

also, what's the weather like on the east coast? someone told me you can walk around in shorts during spring, but i heard there was a snowstorm yesterday in new york. d'you think i'll need a thick coat and boots or smth?

HAHA i guess i sound pretty clueless cos i come from a place in asia where it never snows

It's unlikely there would be much (if any snow) mid-late April. You can check weather.com and enter the city and get a 10 day forecast. Layers are best. I don't think jeans, nice shirt and sneakers are too casual but you might want to bring one nicer top and pair of shoes just in case. A light jacket is always good.

If you are going to exeter they have a dress code. the best thing to do is check the website (exeter says on the website what the dress code is for re visits). you can also ask the school. when my son called to schedule two re-visits, he asked directly and was told he cannot wear jeans.

I don't think y ou should wear jeans; pants are fine with a nice shirt, but not jeans. Even for casual NMH, we never did jeans. My son wore a collared shirt with a zip front sweater with cords for his interview, and for his revisit he's already picked an outfit of casual khakis and a polo.

well i live in the east coast and its pretty cold outside like 20 degrees F i think what school are you visiting? im visiting st.pauls and im gonna wear a skirt and a cute shirt il just wear a coat
