I was thinking about what to wear when attending college info sessions.

I realize that this is nowhere near an interview, but I was wondering whether I should dress formal, as one would for an interview, or casual?

Thanks!

For an info session? Just wear what you want without looking too sloppy/like you just woke out of bed. Jeans and a button up or polo is fine.

Thanks, sudstar!

Lots of students where t-shirts and shorts, t-shirts and jeans for info sessions/tours. Your attire is unlikely to have any meaning at all, unless it is a very small group and you introduce yourself by name (not typical) and the person running the event is actually on the admissions committee (also fairly unlikely in a small group).

If you are going to do that and/or interview, then a collared shirt and decent pants are nice.

Thanks, Andale! Yea, I am suspecting it will be rather small, and I do intend to introduce myself to the admissions officer ( they say the admissions officer runs the info session; I am not sure whether it is true, but I want to be prepared).

I'd just rock some jeans and my sb dunks
