What type of gift is appropriate?

Hi!
I’m a senior starting an internship next week, so this will be my last week of school. I was hoping to get some feedback on presents to give to 3 of my favorite teachers. I go to a very, very small school, so I know them well inside & outside the classroom. I’ve known them for at least 6 years, have been captain/president in clubs they sponsor, and have had multiple classes with them.

Would it be okay to give them each a $30 gift card to the restaurant I work at? I’m not sure what to get, but it’s a nice, upscale restaurant that is nearby the school.

I’m also planning on making brownies for one of them, because over the past 2 years he has donated $500 to a charity event I have arranged.

Was also planning on writing a short note to them, thanking them for being so supportive.

Sounds like a great plan. Especially the handwritten note. When you write, be as specific as you can . Instead of telling someone they are a nice teacher, give them a more specific praise. Tell them how they inspired you, or encouraged you, or how their way of explaining a concept really made a difference.
